Fractional Closer (Sales Rep)
- Fractional – 20-30hrs per month
- Remote: Work from Home
- Earn Per Sales Meeting + Win Commission – realistic £5k/m opportunity per 20-30hrs of work
£1k for every win (2-3 expected) + £80 per meeting attended (>£100 per hour) - 3 wins = 15 meetings, 11 of which go to meeting 2 = 26 total meetings £2080 fee + £3000 commission = £5080/m = £375,130 full-time equivalent
- 2 wins = 10 meetings, 7 of which go to meeting 2 = 17 total meetings £1,360 fee + £2000 commission = same full-time equivalent (just less time spent)
- 0 closes after 30 meetings and you will be let go – we want people who KNOW that will not happen.
We will provide 15-30 brand new leads monthly, with the ability to turn the taps right up once we find the right person (in March 2026 we generated 37 brand new deals).

Company Description
Head of AI is a fast-growing UK-based company providing A-Player Chief AI Officers to mid-size and large businesses (£10m-£250m revenue) on a fractional (part-time) basis.
Year one growth has been strong. We have raised investment and are now building a small, high-calibre team to support the Founders and senior leadership as the business scales.
We operate at pace, hold a very high bar, and work closely with CEOs, investors, and senior leaders. This is a hands-on role in a founder-led, high-growth business.
Role Description
This is a fractional, fully remote role for a Fractional Closer.
You will run “Meeting 1” as an introduction to the prospect, do a little discovery and present the A-player Chief AI Officer solution – think ex-Amazon, ex-Zoopla, ex-Ministry of Defence – this is the grade of quality you are selling (it sells itself).
And then arrange Meet 2 WITH that Chief AI Officer – if they like them close one of: a) x days per month engagement with them or b) a ring-fenced “AI Gameplan” introductory package – you will decide which is more appropriate for them based on discovery and you will ask for the sale.
You must be a CLOSER. Unless entirely inappropriate (e.g. they didn’t like the candidate!) you will ASK FOR THE CLOSE, with class, with tact, but you will have the closer muscle.
If you are an experienced closer, you will already know the game – overcome all objections before that point so it isn’t entirely inappropriate by the end of Meet 2. Then ASK.
You will:
- always get the next calendar date in the diary, or assume the deal is closed/lost
- even at the point of closing, the follow-up next week to complete signoff – “verbal yes” is still only 70% probability, the job is not done
- qualify, do discovery and work out objections in Meet 1
- so that Meet 2 is easy and sells itself.
If the candidate is wrong, you will work out another one – we have plenty.
Experienced closers will already know this and be thinking “well durr” as they read this.
What Success Looks Like
- Meet 1 progresses to Meet 2 at 70% of qualified – the tyre-kickers and not-affordables get kicked (lead quality is high though)
- Meet 2 closes at 50%
- Overall close rate from very first meeting to contract signed is 15-20% (including qualified out)
If that happens, you will close 2-3 per month within 20 hours work (5hrs per week approx.)
Your Availability
You will have other things going on, but we do need from you:
- 5hrs per week, sometimes up to 10 – it won’t level out smoothly week-to-week
- AVAILABILITY in your calendar to offer prospects 1hr slots with
- Preparation time for every meet:
> Meet 1 is easy, our matching engine gives you best-matched candidates within 20 seconds in Slack
> Meet 2, you will need to prepare the candidate pre-call – an AI-summarised memo by email will do, and you will have their Calendly available to establish when Meet 2 is happening.

Core Skills & Experience
We don’t care about your background – closers can close. BUT, you will need appropriate class and tact for dealing with £10m to £250m CEOs though, this is NOT selling coaching courses for $1000 to micro businesses. Therefore our only mandatory requirements are:
- Experience with £10m to £250m CEO level prospects
- Proven win rate evidence from past roles
- References who will back that up – we will be taking no risks with this role, it is keyPerfect world also:
- Recruitment “matchmaking” experience, though it’s not a hard concept to grasp so this is not mandatory
- Trained in anything similar to MEDDPIC – but not MEDDPIC, way too complex for what is a very simple sale – but parts of it definitely apply to all sales, we will discuss this at interview.
DO NOT Apply If:
- You can’t close
- You don’t have availability
- You haven’t sold to £10m – £250m CEOs before – £5m+ at a stretch
- You haven’t sold big ticket (this is NOT for $1000 mass selling of Skool courses)
